Fact of the Day: Newton MP

While he lived in less democratic times, Isaac Newton did serve as a member of Parliament. While the monarchy at the time had more power than they do today, he did very little during his brief tenure. The only things we know for sure he spoke about was a cold temperature and asking for someone to close a window.
